Mary Poppins Dvd

can I download only audio from a movie DVD?
we own “mary Poppins” 25th anniversary edition and there’s deleted song from the movie in special features that my young son wants on his mp3 player can I do this?
song i need is chimpanzoo if any of you know where I can get it without buying extra software. I only have WMP
There are applications that can do most of this in one step, I would recommend Corel DVD Copy. Otherwise, there is a free application called DVD Decrypter that can decrypt the copy protection and extract the audio file you want. After that you would need to see if the song’s audio format is compatible with the player. It’s most likely AC3/Dolby but possibly PCM or DTS. Most players have PCM support, but AC3 is doubtful and DTS basically nonexistent. If the player doesn’t support the native format, you would need to transcode it to a compatible format. There are thousands of applications that can do this so whatever you have or can get is probably worth trying. Itunes might be a likely option or a multimedia application of some kind.

Mary Poppins (Fully Restored Limited Edition) (Walt Disney’s Masterpiece) (Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection) $5.00 There is only one word that comes close to accurately describing the enchanting Mary Poppins, and that term was coined by the movie itself: supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Even at 2 hours and 20 minutes, Disney’s pioneering mixture of live action and animation (based on the books by P.L. Travers) still holds kids spellbound. Julie Andrews won an Oscar as the world’s most magically idealized na… |

Alice in Wonderland (Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection) [VHS] $3.80 Imaginatively rendered but slightly chilly, this 1951 Disney adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic is also appropriately surreal. Alice (voiced by Kathryn Beaumont) has all the anticipated experiences: shrinking and growing, meeting the White Rabbit, having tea with the Mad Hatter, etc. Characterization is very strong, and the Disney team worked hard to bring screen personality to Carroll’s ecce… |

Mary Poppins (Two-Disc 45th Anniversary Special Edition) $17.97 Julie Andrews won an Oscar in her film debut as the “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” nanny who brings magic and joy to the Banks family in turn-of-the-century London. Fanciful adaptation of P.L. Travers’ books co-stars Dick Van Dyke, David Tomlinson, Glynis Johns and Ed Wynn. The score by Richard and Robert Sherman includes “A Spoonful of Sugar,” “Let’s Go Fly a Kite,” “Chim Chim Cher-ee.” 139… |

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Full Screen Edition) $3.25 This remastered, pan-and-scan 30th-anniversary edition of that kiddie-car caper is flawed but solid family fare. It retains a quaint charm while some of the songs–including the title tune–are quite hummable. A huge plus is Dick Van Dyke, who is extremely appealing as an eccentric inventor around the turn of the century. With nimble fingers and a unique way of looking at the world, he invents for… |

The Sound of Music (Three-Disc 45th Anniversary Blu-ray/DVD Combo in Blu-ray Packaging) $19.78 When Julie Andrews sang “The hills are alive with the sound of music” from an Austrian mountaintop in 1965, the most beloved movie musical was born. To be sure, the adaptation of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II’s Broadway hit has never been as universally acclaimed as, say, Singin’ in the Rain. Critics argue that the songs are saccharine (even the songwriters regretted the line “To sing t… |

Disney Baby Lullaby: Favorite Sleepytime Songs for Baby and You $4.52 Lullabies lend themselves to woozy re-creations, a sort of endless repetition that flags under the weight of the concept (putting kids to bed for their much-needed sleep) and the lack of weight accorded to the music. You might expect a Disney lullaby collection to be on a par with the most mediocre collections, but this one is really a fine set. The tunes are standard–from the famous “Brahms Lull… |
