Will fish in a plastic seal baggy in a freezer stay good for 2 years?

I’ve had fish in my freezer for a long time now and I was wondering just how long it can sit in there before it becomes a danger to ingest. It’s been about 2 years since I put it in there, and as far as I know we’ve never had a bad blackout that wasn’t in the middle of winter to begin with so it should have stayed frozen the entire time.

I went fishing in Alaska for Halibut, and brought back 150 lbs. It has been in our garage freezer for 2 years now, and we eat it all the time. It should be totally fine if, like you said, there were no blackouts or anything. SHould be fine =]
